French
The goal of this program is to learn basic French.  In this class, the students will learn how to say hi, how they are doing, they will also learn colors, animals, family members and body parts (face).  They will learn through games, songs and books.  They will learn about French culture by making some crafts.

Participants need to bring a note to school allowing them to stay after school.
The school will dismiss participants and allow them to go to the library. 

If Swift River School has early dismissal due to inclement weather, class will be cancelled for that evening and the instructor will reschedule. 

School nurse/school staff are not present for this after school program. 

Registration Deadline
  • 5 days prior to the start of the program
  • A $10.00 late fee applies to all registrations after the deadline
  • If Swift River School has early dismissal due to inclement weather, class will be cancelled for that evening. The instructor will reschedule class due to inclement weather.

Instructor
  • Aurelia Debeauquesne-Layec born in Paris France has been teaching for over 15 years from pre-k to college level. After taught for 5 years in France, before moving to the US to continue teaching. Aurelia has lived in Belchertown for the past 5 years and has been teaching private lessons along with teaching French in a Montessori School for the past 2 years. Aurelia is a licensed instructor.
