Join us for a hike through Lake Wallace Sensory Trail.
Want to know more about the diversity of life in Lake Wallace and meet our frog’s neighbors? Well, join us for Critter Sampling and introduce yourself to some of our tiniest community members! (scientists call them aquatic micro- and macro-invertebrates). We’ll use nets and buckets and basins and cups and spoons and critter ID charts. We'll scoop and sort and learn and identify and count our way to answering the question: Are there more mosquitoes or mosquito predators?
Park at the far side of Foley Field and meet by the “dog beach” (between the backstop and the sluiceway).
Dress for the weather and dirt (and maybe getting your toes wet).
