Smiling Toddler Boy Holding A Basketball
This program is designed for pre-school age (4-5 years of age not in kindergarten) to teach youth skills and drills basketball. This is not a league and no games will be played; the emphasis will be on fundamental skills such as stretching, dribbling, passing and most importantly having FUN!  Come learn the basic motor skills necessary to play basketball. The focus will be on teaching children skills through age-appropriate activities/games. The goal is to develop motor skills, coordination and positive interaction with other children. Each child will receive a t-shirt.  Sneakers must be worn on the gym floor. Please bring a water bottle.

Registration Deadline
  • 5 days prior to the start of the program
  • a $10.00 late fee applies to all registrations after the deadline
  • snowdate: March 16

Instructor
  • Coach Mike Jurkowski- A graduate of BHS, scored a 1,000 career points for the Orioles. He went on to play 4 years of college basketball where he earned 1st team All-MASCAC.
  • Coach David Kibbe, a graduate of BHS, played college basketball and is heavily involved in the Belchertown community.
  • Coach Harry Kofidis played varsity basketball at Granby Jr/Sr Highschool. He coached 2nd grade basketball and currently assists with 7/8th grade suburban team.
