Suburban Basketball
The Recreation Department may enroll teams in each of the following Divisions: 5th & 6th Grade Girls; 7th & 8th Grade Girls, 5th & 6th Grade Boys and 7th & 8th Grade Boys in the Competitive Suburban Basketball League. Teams will travel to towns such as Chicopee, Monson, Palmer, Westfield, South Hadley, Granby, Agawam & West Springfield. Teams will play 16 regular season games plus playoffs. Practices will begin in mid-late October with games beginning in December and running through mid March.
Games are played under High School Basketball rules.

CYO Basketball
The Recreation Department may enroll teams in the competitive CYO Basketball League for each of the following Divisions: 5th & 6th grade Girls, 5th & 6th grade Boys.
Teams will travel to towns such as, Ludlow, Chicopee, Agawam, Springfield, Hadley, Palmer and more. Teams will play approximately 12 regular season games with an end of the season tournament. Practices will begin in mid-late October, a jamboree in mid November, with games beginning in early December and will run into early March.

Players must attend two (2) out of the three (3) days to be considered for a team.
There is no fee to tryout for these teams but you must complete the registration process and agree to all waivers.
Any player in 5th-8th grade who is not selected for a Suburban or CYO team can register for Recreation Basketball in The Quabbin Valley Basketball League.
Parents will not be able to enter the gym for tryouts, they may wait in the lobby area.
