Drum Circle Discovery
Drum Circle Discovery
Have you always wanted to play the drums or be a part of a big percussion group? In Drum Circle Discovery we invite kids throughout the community to join equally enthusiastic young musicians in learning music's most diverse family of instruments. In this class, students will use an amazing set of West African Tubano drums to create authentic beats and rhythms while also learning traditional percussion instruments, drum kit and techniques to ensure your musician progresses their skill and understanding of music theory and expression! Our goal over the 8 week session is to build a group of motivated and confident young musicians who love building community while also improving their talents on amazing instruments… This class is geared towards students between 1st grade and 8th grade and because of the diverse opportunities on every instrument, every person is valued and important in every song! If building better drummers and collaborating with our great community sounds fun, look no further than Drum Circle Discovery!
