The goal of this program is to get kids back outdoors while using their imagination and creativity to care for nature, create projects using simple materials, garden, and prepare no-cook foods. Gathering at the Swift River pavilion, we will camp in a tent, work in the school garden, and then cool off under the sprinklers. Each day will have its own theme: Guacamole Party: Make your own guacamole and use the pit to grow a tree. *First Aid: Learn basis first-aid and put together your own first aid kit. Sand: Make sandcastles, find buried treasure, and make your own zen garden to take home. Solar Oven Cook-off: Design your own solar oven and see what you can cook up using the sun!If there is a thunderstorm or torrential downpour, the children will move inside Swift River.
