Intro to Powerlifting
 
A 4 week program that will focus on learning the bench, squat, and deadlift. The program will cover form and technique, proper warm-up methods, and supportive accessory exercises. Great for beginners or intermediate lifters who want to focus on form. Participants should wear exercise appropriate clothing and shoes.

Postpartum Functional Strength
 
A 5 week series. This specialized strength training class is designed for postpartum individuals looking to safely and effectively rebuild their strength and confidence after childbirth. Drawing upon the evidence-based principles of the Girls Gone Strong Certified Postnatal Coaching (CPPC) methodology, this class focuses on a holistic approach to postpartum fitness. This class is suitable for individuals cleared for exercise by their healthcare provider, from 6 weeks postpartum through the first 18 months. Whether you're a beginner or have prior fitness experience, this program can be tailored to meet your need
 
  • Pelvic Floor & Core Connection: We'll begin by establishing a strong foundation, focusing on reconnecting with and strengthening your pelvic floor and deep core muscles. This includes breathwork, gentle activation exercises, and progressive loading techniques.
  • Progressive Strength Training: Utilizing a gradual and personalized approach, we'll introduce strength training exercises designed to address the unique needs of the postpartum body. Expect a mix of bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, and light weights, all tailored to your current level and progression.
  • Functional Movement: We'll prioritize movements that translate to your daily life, making you stronger and more resilient for the demands of motherhood. This includes exercises that improve posture, lifting mechanics, and overall functional fitness.
  • Safe & Supportive Environment: This is a judgment-free zone where you can feel comfortable and supported throughout your postpartum journey. Our certified instructor will provide personalized modifications and guidance to ensure your safety and effectiveness.
  • Education & Empowerment: We'll empower you with knowledge about postpartum anatomy, recovery, and safe exercise practices, helping you make informed decisions about your fitness.
  • Focus on Recovery: We will consider the whole person, and the importance of sleep, nutrition and stress management in the postpartum period.
  • Addressing Common Postpartum Concerns: We will address common concerns such as diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, and overall muscle imbalances.
