Instructional Summer 2026:
Learn the basics of field hockey in a relaxed environment perfect for beginners. Players at this level will be taught introductory core skills necessary to learn the sport, including basic game rules, stick grip/control, posture, and ball control. Practices will focus on teamwork, fari play, and most importantly fun! Coaches from the Bantam team will run these sessions, which will be hald at Foley field. Sticks are available for all players to use throughout each session, and the only equipment required at this level will be a mouth guard.
Summer:
Participants will be taught the fundamentals of field hockey through both drills and scrimmaging. Core skills will be introduced and include basic rules, proper grip and posture, ball and stick control, passing and receiving along with offense and defense skills as well as hellp players prepare for the upcoming fall season. This clinic is designed for all levels of play. Come have some fun and learn to play!
Registration Deadline
- 10 days prior to the start of the program.
- A $10.00 late fee applies to all registrations after the deadline
- Rain dates - cancellations will be made 2 hours prior to the start of the clinic and instructors will notify players of a make-up date.

- Summer Clinic - Dina Brunetti has worked with the youth program for several years. Many of the field hockey coaches have played in the past and enjoy sharing their knowledge and love of the sport with others. In addition, high school junior coaches are often in attendance to serve as assistant coaches and inspire the youth players.
