Field Hockey Women on the Field
Spring:
This clinic is offered to participants grades 4-7 and will practice the fundamentals of field hockey through drills and scrimmages. An introduction of basic rules, proper grip, and ball and stick control will be provided, if needed. Sharpen your skills, get some exercise and have some fun!


Summer:
This clinic will be offered Thursday evenings for four weeks to K-8 grade.  Participants will be taught the fundamentals of field hockey through both drills and scrimmaging. Core skills will be introduced and include basic rules, proper grip and posture, ball and stick control, passing and receiving along with basic offense and defense skills as well as help players prepare for the upcoming fall season. This is made for players brand new to the sport and also ideal as a refresher.   Come have some fun and learn to play.



 

Registration Deadline
  • 10 days prior to the start of the program.
  • A $10.00 late fee applies to all registrations after the deadline
  • Rain dates - cancellations will be made 2 hours prior to the start of the clinic and instructors will notify players of a make-up date.

Staff
  • Spring Clinic - Field Hockey coaches
  • Summer Clinic - Dina Brunetti has worked with the youth program for several years. Many of the field hockey coaches have played in the past and enjoy sharing their knowledge and love of the sport with others. In addition, high school junior coaches are often in attendance to serve as assistant coaches and inspire the youth players.
