BANTAMS - Grades 1-4
The fall youth instructional program is offered to boys and girls of all skill levels entering grades 1-4. During the season, coaches follow the American Development Model of USA Field Hockey and work with players to discover, learn, and play the sport of field hockey. The focus of programming at this age is to learn the basics of the game and have fun while also enjoying smaller 7 v 7 games.
Games runs Sept. until the end of October and will include approx. 10 games played. Games may be played in Belchertown and neighboring towns which may include Northampton, Agawam, Longmeadow, Westfield, Holyoke, and others.
Practices will be held on Wednesday evenings during the week and games will be one day on weekends.

JUNIORS - Grades 5-6
SENIORS - Grades 7-8
The fall youth recreation program is offered to boys and girls of all skill levels entering grades 5-8. During the season, coaches follow the American Development Model of USA Field Hockey and work with players to discover, learn, and play the sport, and also to develop and challenge them as the season progresses. The focus of programming at this age is to learn the game and have fun, develop game understanding and good sportsmanship, and develop a love of sport through practices and games during the season. Games runs Sept. until the end of October and typically includes approx. 15 games. Games may be played in Belchertown and neighboring towns which may include Northampton, Agawam, Longmeadow, Westfield, Holyoke, and others.
Practices will be held Tuesdays & Thursdays during the week and games are mostly on weekends. Teams include Juniors (grade 5/6) and Seniors (grade 7/8). The season may also offer opportunities to play in 1or 2 tournaments.

All practices and home games will take played at Foley Field
Registration Deadline
- Registration Deadline is 5 days prior to the start of the program.
- A $10.00 late fee applies to all registrations after the deadline.
